Shannon, a sunny California native, thrives on adventure, whether that’s climbing mountain trails or building bold ideas for a client’s brand. She’s the creative strategist behind PIC Photo, helping clients see the bigger vision for their business and turning that vision into visuals that actually work. From concept to shoot day to the final edits, Shannon is hands-on in every step of the process.
Her brain moves fast and is full of ideas , which can sometimes look like beautiful chaos. Luckily, she has her partner Christina to help organize the whirlwind and make sure every great idea finds its way into the final plan.
Christina, our Ohio-born queen of Midwest charm, is the calm, steady force behind the scenes. While Shannon is out chasing the light and connecting with clients, Christina is the one keeping everything moving smoothly. She keeps timelines on track, and makes sure the million moving pieces of a creative business actually work together.
Christina’s ability to organize the details while still understanding the creative vision is what helps turn big ideas into something beautifully executed and gently making sure Shannon doesn’t wander too far off course. Every creative partnership needs balance...and Christina is ours.

We met in photography school in Santa Barbara, fell in love, and promised to build a life full of adventure, creativity, and a little beautiful chaos. More than 19 years later, we’re still doing just that, documenting real stories for families and businesses from our home in the Santa Cruz Mountains and throughout the Bay Area
Years of photographing weddings taught us how to work quickly, read a room, and adapt to constantly changing light and environments. When you’re capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments, there’s no pause button—you learn how to adjust, find the best light, and create something beautiful no matter what’s happening around you. That kind of trust and instinct behind the camera is a skill that only comes with experience.
Our background in documentary family photography adds another layer. It taught us how to notice the subtle moments, read energy, and tell stories that feel honest instead of staged. When people feel comfortable and safe, the photos stop being stiff, the brand stops feeling forced, and showing up as yourself becomes easy.
